Nordstrom Trunk Club Teams Up with The Kimpton Gray Hotel To Provide a Quick Fashion Fix for Guests
Introducing the “Gray” Trunk Available Exclusively to Hotel Guests
Chicago, Ill., Nov. 17, 2017— Today The Kimpton Gray Hotel and Chicago-based personal styling service, Nordstrom Trunk Club, announce they have teamed up to give hotel guests exclusive access to Nordstrom Trunk Club’s styling services. Inspired by the aesthetic of the hotel, Nordstrom Trunk Club in partnership with The Gray has curated an exclusive “Gray” trunk available for purchase only to hotel guests.
Through a link on the amenities page of the hotel’s website, guests will be redirected to Nordstrom Trunk Club’s website, where they can sign up and connect with a stylist. From there, guests will be able to work with their Nordstrom Trunk Club stylist via email, phone or in person, to order a trunk inspired by their stay at The Gray. With flexible delivery dates, Trunks can be scheduled to arrive at the hotel prior to the guests stay, delivered when they return home or guests can visit Nordstrom Trunk Club’s Chicago Clubhouse located at 325 W. Ohio to be styled in person.
Whether staying at the hotel for business or pleasure, Nordstrom Trunk Club has curated featured Trunks for men and women, in which all items will rotate seasonally. “The looks that inspire the Trunks are hand-selected by our expertly trained stylists with the hotel’s guests in mind – smart, sophisticated, and stylish. The clothing in the trunk mirrors the colors, tones and patterns representative of the hotel, which have been translated into practical outfits to fit each guest’s unique wants and needs,” says Anna Wisniewski, Director of Content Strategy at Nordstrom Trunk Club. Each trunk will be hand-selected with merchandise from the collection to fit the guest’s preference. The Trunks will include an array of clothing from denim, tops, jackets, shoes and accessories. Nordstrom Trunk Club has a range of inventory that your stylist will pick based on your budget and style preferences.
To coincide with Kimpton’s “Forgot it? We’ve got it!” program, the concierge will also have Nordstrom Trunk Club gift cards on-hand for guests who may have forgotten an outfit or have had an outfit malfunction and need a quick fix. The gift cards can be used at Nordstrom Trunk Club’s Chicago Clubhouse - just one mile north of the hotel.
