A Long Cardigan, 5 Ways
When it comes to an item of clothing as essential to our wardrobes as denim, we’ll be first to admit—we can be a little picky. It has to be ultra-comfortable, hold its shape, and come in both classic and of-the-moment-styles. The perfect pair with all the hallmarks can be hard to find, but you know it’s right the minute you slip them on. To prove our point, we had some of our own staffers try on men’s and women’s denim from one of our favorite brands: Paige. Here’s what they loved.
Verdugo Mid-Rise Ultra Skinny Jeans
These jeans are my favorite. They’re so soft, it’s almost like getting to wear sweatpants to work.
-Carrie K., senior designer
Lennox Slim-Fit Jeans
These jeans fit and feel like I’ve had them for years. The level of comfort sold me on them almost immediately.

Hoxton High-Rise Ankle Skinny Jeans
I wear a lot of denim, and these are probably the most comfortable pair I’ve ever put on. They’re super soft and stretchy, but hold their shape.
-Nicole T., designer
Croft Skinny Jeans
These jeans are so comfortable I could sleep in them... or do yoga... or run a marathon.
-Jordan M., designer
Skyline Mid-Rise Crop Skinny Jeans
Cropped jeans are a trick every petite girl should know about. I’m 5’2”, and they hit my ankle exactly where I want them to.

Federal Slim Straight-Leg Jeans
These could easily become my everyday, go-to pair of jeans. The dark wash goes with everything in my closet, and they’re really comfortable.

It’s like wearing pajamas. I actually own seven pairs of these jeans because they’re so comfortable.
-Jen M., designer
Croft Super Skinny Jeans
A little bit of stretch in the fabric makes these extremely comfortable and easy to move in. I look for a classic wash without too many details, and these are it.

Verdugo Ankle Mid-Rise Ultra Skinny Jeans
The mid-rise style is perfect for doing a half-tuck with all my tops. And I love how the striped accent gives me a little extra style.
