What to Wear for Three Types of Workouts
You’ve earned this. The holidays are over, the year is new—it’s time to take yourself on a vacation. But what kind? To some people, a vacay means laying on a beach for a few days, a margarita in hand, and a swimsuit on at all times. To others, winter is the ideal time for hitting the mountains to ski, snowboard, or curl up in a snow-covered lodge. Either way, you’ll want to know what to pack. Here are a few things one of our stylists, Victoria, has in mind.
Victoria loves a crisp-white look for beach vacations, and a linen jumpsuit is an ideal choice. “Linen is chic and functional in tropical temps,” she says. It’s durable, breathable, and gets softer the more you wash it. And those woven totes that were popular over the summer? It’s time to bring them back out for vacation. We love bags in geometric shapes with whimsical embellishments.
Coziness and color are key. When you’re not decked out in your snow gear, Victoria recommends bright winter accessories. A statement puffer in a bold color or print will help you stand out in a sea of black and grey. And instead of jeans, try a pair of leather leggings. “They have the ability to make any outfit look instantly more luxurious,” she says. Accessorize with a sleek belt bag and a great pair of waterproof boots for trekking around town.
